Why Join a Group like Living Outloud Together?

Therapy doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. For many, healing happens in community — and Living Outloud Together offers a powerful space to feel seen, heard, and connected. This group is designed to support LGBTQIA+ teens and their caregivers in parallel — creating opportunities for both individual growth and shared understanding.

Here are some key benefits:
For LGBTQIA+ Teens:

✔ Build Identity Confidence

✔ Reduce Isolation & Shame

✔ Develop Emotional & Social Skills

✔Creative Expression as Healing

For Caregivers:

✔ Increase Empathy & Understanding

✔ Process Your Own Journey

✔ Learn Practical Support Tools

✔ Join a Supportive Community

Ready to grow together?

We begin July 13 - are you coming with us?

Spots are limited and filling up fast. Don't miss the opportunity to connect, express, and have fun together.

What do you need?

This is a question we can explore together.

needs that can be helped in therapy

Maslow’s hierarchy describes how basic needs (like food, water, sleep, etc.) must be met before we can fulfill higher-level needs (like love, confidence, and realizing our full potential). It can be helpful to understand the types of needs we have as humans, to help meet them.

With experience working on the frontlines of the homeless crisis, I understand the importance of having basic needs met. And, as someone with the privilege to have therapy be my second career, I understand the call of the top of the pyramid to find meaning and purpose. Read more about my background here.

We all have unmet needs. We all struggle. Therapy is one way to seek empathy, empowerment, and healing. Read more about what therapy includes here.
